Members of the Rotaract Club of Miami at Miami Dade College, Juan Rivera, Natalie Quade, and Marie Feliu, were awarded participation in the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGIU) conference to be held October 2018 at University of Chicago. Their proposal is to create a peer mediation program at area high schools where they will reduce conflict and violence while creating a safer learning environment for the students.  In addition, they have been selected as one of the top 100 CGIU Projects to be honored in a special event known as the CGIU Exchange, which will take place during the conference.
