Human Trafficking Initiative

Human Trafficking Awareness Month is January 2019. Because combatting Human Trafficking is a major initiative for District 6990 and Rotary International, the Rotary Club of Coconut Grove is supporting a symposium presented by the Coconut Grove Woman’s Club to be held on Tuesday, January 15th from 6pm-9pm at the Woman’s Club, 2985 S Bayshore Dr, Miami, FL 33133.

Guest speaker will be State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle along with two human trafficking survivors. Representatives from various community organizations, who provide services and care to victims of human trafficking, will be present to discuss their programs, and the ways we can help to end trafficking.

The event is free and open to the public.   Join us on January 15th.
